How signing in works
There are no passwords anywhere in Mycro, so there is nothing to leak, nothing to reset and nothing to get wrong. You type your email, we send a one-time link that is good for 30 minutes and works once, and clicking it signs you in for 60 days on that device. Continue with Google does the same thing in one step. Both routes end in the same place.
Once you are signed in, every change you make to your log saves to your account automatically. Open Mycro on your phone, sign in with the same address, and the same batches and cultures are there. Every version is kept, so a bad day is a step back and not an ending.
If you lost a log and have no account
This is the common case and it is worth being plain about. The free grow log stores your batches in your own browser. That is what makes it work with no sign-up and no cap, and it is also what means clearing your browser data, or switching to a new laptop, takes the log with it.
The fix is free and takes one click. In the Grow Log, press ☁ Back up. You get a private link that opens that log on any device, and you can have it emailed to yourself so it is not one more thing to keep track of. From then on the device syncs to that link automatically on every change. No account needed for any of it.
